Q.  I'm not sure if my online order went through, how do I know?
A.  You should receive a confirmation email shortly after making your purchase.


Q.  I didn't get a confirmation e-mail back, did my order go through?
A.  After checking your email, please remember to check your spam folder as well.  You may contact us as well and we can check for you. 


Q.  Do you accept Debit cards and PayPal?
A.  Yes, we accept debit cards and PayPal.  We also accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express cards.


Q.  Which side of my uniform do I put my name tapes on?
A.  The name goes on the right side.   This means that if you were wearing the uniform, the name tape goes on your right side.  Consequently, the Branch of Service tape (U.S. ARMY, U.S. NAVY, etc.) would go on the left side.


Q.  Do I cut off my name tapes even with my pockets.
A.  NO!  Fold the ends under, this gives finished edges that won't fray.  The placement for the name tape is above the pocket, edge to edge and centered.


    
Q.  Where do I place my collar ranks sew-on's on the collar?
A.




Q.  Where do I put a 3 inch name tape on my Gore-Tex Jacket?
A.  The name tape is sewn on the flap of the left sleeve pocket.  By sewing it on the flap, the jacket remains water-proof.  The tape is sewn on just like a normal name tape, in that, the ends are folded under and the name is centered edge to edge.


Q.  Are Air Force OCP tapes the same as Army tapes?
A.  No, the Air Force OCP tapes have brown lettering instead of black.  They are made on the same pattern of tape, just different color lettering.  


Q.  Your 1-800-NAME TAPE phone number has too many letters in it and it doesn't work!
A.  If you dial correctly, it should work.  We test the number daily.  The last "E" can be omitted, however, it will start to ring anyway, even if you dial more numbers than needed.   Also, if you dial 1800 NAME TAG, you reach another company that make plastic signs, etc., but not military items.   We thank them for their patience, they get several of our calls.
If you are calling on a cell phone, it works best when you stop at P.  So, dial 1-800-NAME TAP.


Q.  What are your office hours?
A.  Normal office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 pm ET Monday - Friday.  If this is not convenient, you can order online 24 hours a day.   


Q.  What's the fastest way I can have my order shipped?
A.  The fastest would be UPS NEXT DAY AIR.  In most cases, you will receive the order the next business day.  We have another less costly method, such as UPS 2ND DAY AIR, that is estimated 2 business days.  UPS may cost more than 1st class mail, but you will more than likely get them on schedule.


Q.  I have an older order form, are the prices still the same?
A.  No, please go to our website https://store.1800nametape.com for updated prices.


Q.  How long does it take to get my order if I order online?
A.  Depending on the method of shipping, it ranges from 1 to 10 business days.  FPO, APO and foreign addresses may take additional time.   


Q.  Is hook the same thing as Velcro®? 
A.  Yes, hook is another name for the hard Velcro®.  VELCRO® is a Copyrighted product by Velcro Industries B.V.


Q.  Are hook and loop the same thing?
A.  No, hook is the hard side of the Velcro® that can be attached to the back of the tapes and insignias.  The loop is the soft side of the Velcro® that is attached to the uniform.


Q.  Will the loop side come with my name tape if I order with hook?
A.  No, the loop is sold separately.


Q.  What is the length of the uniform and cap name tapes with hook?
A.  5 Inches with Hook.


Q.  I ordered the wrong item; may I return it for a refund?
A.  Your satisfaction is our main priority at 1800NAMETAPE, we will accept a return on any Non-Customized items for a full refund, not including Shipping costs as long as:
     1. You contact us for Return Authorization.

     2. All items must be in new condition with original packaging.

     3. Any refund or Exchange request must be sent within 7 business days of receiving your order.

     4. Any discrepancies or order shortages must be made within 7 business days of receiving your order.
Please note: We will not provide any refunds without following these steps.


Q.  Can I exchange my non-custom item for something else?
A.  Yes, please contact us so that we may start the process your request.


Q.  How long will it take for me to receive my order?
A.  Typically, it takes us about 1 – 2 business days to get the order completed and then the ship time depends on the method that you choose. The default is First class mail which the Post Office estimates that it should take about 5 – 7 business days to arrive. If you choose to do UPS for your shipping, we try our best to get those orders out the same day for you if the order is placed before 2 pm central time.


Q.  Once my package ships, how quickly should I expect to receive my package?
A.  The shipping for regular mail takes 5-7 business days to get to you. We have Priority mail and it takes 3-5 business days, UPS Ground and it takes 2-3 business days, and UPS 2nd day and UPS Next day.


Q.  I need my package by the weekend, what type of shipping should I choose?
A.  In order to receive your package in time you will need to choose an UPS option. We do our best to get UPS packages shipped out that day or following business day.


Q.  Can UPS deliver to a post office box?
A.  No, UPS has to have a physical address in order to get your order delivered to you.


Q.  Do you have expedited shipping?
A.  Yes, we have Next Day UPS available at the end of check out.


Q.  The tracking on my package says my package was delivered.  How come I still do not have it?
A.  Sometimes the post office scans that the package has been delivered which in fact it has not been. Please allow 10 business days from the date we shipped your package date and then contact your local post office.


Q.  What do I do if UPS did not deliver my package on time?
A.  Please contact us to let us know you have not received your package and then please contact us again once you receive it so that we may get a credit issued to you.
